Today in class, we were working in our first social studies chapter, which is all about geography concepts.We've been studying hemispheres, continents & oceans, and countries. When we started looking at the idea of "states within countries," I challenged students to answer a bonus question about states. All I said was that I'd post the question on our blog so here it comes...
How many states does the Mississippi River touch?
(That counts states that the river borders or runs through.)
To receive a small prize, students must have the answer written on a piece of paper, AND have a parent's initials/signature too. Good luck!
